This signing comes after months of intense debate in this small Pacific island of 164,000 residents. The Judiciary Committee in Connecticut’s Assembly has also approved a bill that will pave the way for marijuana legalization. This is after the General Law Committee also approved a bill on cannabis legalization. The Irish government has revealed that it has finally identified and issued an import license to a Danish medical cannabis firm. The license was reportedly issued back in January. As legislators on Rhode Island are thinking about legalizing recreational cannabis, the data on medical cannabis sales shows that the volume of products sold is setting state records year by year.
